Congratulations! Today you have made the best decision of your life—the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.
You’ve just started on an exciting journey, one that will lead you to a life of faith and discovery. Along this path, you will come to know who God is, experience His immense love for you, and uncover the incredible plans He has for you in His Kingdom. You were created with a purpose, and your life holds deep meaning!
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. – Luke 15:7
What to do next?
Well, the next step is to grow your relationship with Jesus Christ. You will discover great things and will have peace and joy as you go through life.
With that mind, here are 6 things that you can do to help you grow.
1. Be Baptized
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: – Matthew 28:19
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. – Acts 2:41
2. Be With A Bible Believing Church
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. – Hebrews 10:25
3. Read The Bible Every Day
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. – Matthew 4:4
4. Pray Daily About Everything
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. – Matthew 7:7-8
5. Tell Others About Christ
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. – Mark 16:15
6. Tithe Your Income
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. – Provers 3:9-10
